Affiliate Disclaimer

Hey, it’s Pete.

I’m gonna get right to the point with this.

The goal of Have-a-word and the associated courses including the Freelance Business Blueprint is to help you earn more by establishing a successful freelance business. Sometimes, to help achieve that goal I’m going to recommend third party products or services.

Now, a lot of the time, the links I provide to those services will be affiliate links.

That means if you decide to purchase a service based on my recommendation, I receive a referral commission.

If I were to list every affiliate service I recommend then you’d never get to the real content. You’d be too busy trying to get through all the weird little notifications!

As such, it’s easier if you just assume that any link from this site to a paid service is an affiliate link.

But don’t worry.  I’m not going to recommend services simply because they’re going to offer me commission. The only services I recommend have to hit a number of criteria:

  1. A service I pay for and use myself
  2. Well respected in its field
  3. Hasn’t paid me for a positive review, either in monetary compensation or free use of the product

Have a Word is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

I’m not going to recommend any services I don’t personally use and you are under no obligation to purchase services through the links I provide. Of course, I’d appreciate it if you did because it all helps keep the lights on and gears turning this end.

If you have any questions or need anything clarifying, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Peace!

Pete
